Rental Terms and Conditions

  • The caravan will be delivered and removed by Livin Caravan Rentals and must not be moved at any time without permission from Livin Caravan Rentals
  • These caravans are only for hire within the Auckland area
  • These are not self tow caravans
  • Free delivery within 30kms of the Auckland CBD on rentals 6 weeks or more, outside this area a delivery fee will apply 
  • The caravan will be levelled on site and the power and water connected if required

Long term rentals

  • Rental period is 3 months or more
  • A one off early termination fee of $150.00 will apply if the rental is terminated prior to the minimum 3 month period
  • 1 weeks notice must be given at the end of the rental period
  • Payment must be by automatic payment

Payments

  • It is the resonsibility of the hirer to ensure the rent payments reach Livin Caravan Rentals by the due date otherwise a late penalty of $20.00 will be charged

Bond - A refundable bond of $150.00 and 1 weeks rent is payable in advance on all caravan rentals

The bond will be refunded no later than 7 days after the caravan is returned provided:

  • The caravan is undamaged except for normal wear and tear
  • The chattels as listed are returned and in good condition
  • The caravan is clean and tidy
  • There is no unpaid rent
  • The minimum time of the lease is met

Use of Caravan

  • The hirer shall not sublet or hire the caravan to any other person
  • The hirer shall not use the caravan for any unlawful purpose
  • The hirer must not tow the caravan

Hirers obligations

  • The hirer will notify Livin Caravan Rentals of any problems with the caravan by phoning 0800 8 LIVIN (54846) as soon as possible
  • The hirer shall make sure the caravan is locked and secure when not in use
  • Smoking is not permitted in the caravan
  • Animals are not permitted in the caravan excluding guide dogs
  • Only the lead supplied with the caravan is to be used / no extention cords are to be used
  • The electrical connections must not be tampered with or be removed
  • The hirer is responsible for any damage to wiring or appliances caused by failure to use power as directed
  • The hirer is responsible for the repairs of any broken windows
  • The hirer is responsible for any costs incurred if he/she loses the key, we recommend getting a key cut to prevent this otherwise $50.00 will be charged to fit a new lock
  • If the caravan is damaged and repair costs exceed the $150.00 bond then the hirer is liable for damages

Insurance

  • Personal belongings are not covered, we recommend you do not leave valuables in the caravan

Livin Caravan Rentals reserves the right to inspect the caravan at any time and to terminate the rental agreement if there is damage incurred or failure of rental payments. In the event of the hirer not meeting any of the above terms and conditions Livin Caravan Rentals may enter the property and remove the caravan without notice.
